Fra le moltissime feste folcloristiche, la Festa
dei Gigli è senza dubbio una delle
più spettacolari. E' dedicata a San Paolino
Vescovo e le sue origini si fanno risalire al
V sec d.C., subito dopo la sua morte. Gli otto
Gigli sono pesantissimi obelischi di legno, alti
25 metri e ricoperti da fantasiosi ed artistici
rivestimenti di cartapesta: tra si essi figura
una imponente barca, con dentro il Turco (barbaro),
la quale ricorda il mare attraversato da S. Paolino
per il ritorno in Patria. I Gigli e la barca sono
portati a spalla da una "paranza" di
120 uomini circa che, guidati da un capoparanza,
con grande abilità li fanno ballare, ruotare
ed avanzare al ritmo di trascinanti marcette suonate
da una fanfara che trova posto sulla stessa macchina.
La fase saliente della festa si svolge la domenica
successiva al 22 giugno (28.06.2009) quando,
fino a notte inoltrata, e sempre nel tradizionale
ordine, i Gigli percorrono le strade del centro
storico, tra il tripudio della popolazione e dalla
meraviglia dei turisti (da non perdere la domenica
mattina).
Di particolare interesse anche il Corteo
Storico degli Orsini.
Un altro appuntamento importante è il Percorso
della Fede.
La cartapesta nolana.

Among
many folkloristic festivities, the Feast of the
Gigli is without doubt one of the most spectacular.
It’s dedicated to the Bishop Paolino and
its origins go back to the V cent. a.C., immediately
after his death. The eight Gigli are very heavy
wooden obelisks, 25 meters high and covered with
imaginative and artistic papermache coverings:
among them there is an imposing boat, with the
Turk (Barbarian) in which remembers the sea crossed
by S. Paolino for the return to his country. The
Gigli and the boat are carried on the shoulders
by a paranza of about 120 men who, guided by a
capoparanza, with great skill make them dance,
rotate and advance in involving march rhythm played
by a fanfara who finds place on the Sunday following
the 22 June (29.06.2008)
when,
until late in the night, and always in the traditional
order, the Gigli cross the roads of the historical
center, in the jubilation of the population and
in the wonder of the tourists (not to lose on
Sunday morning). Of particular interest also the
Historical Procession of the Orsini and the Way
of the Faith.
Parmi les nombreuses fêtes folkloriques,
la Festa dei Gigli est certainement l’une
des plus spectaculaires.
Dédiée à Saint Paulin, ses
origines se font remonter au Vème siècle
après J.C., juste après la mort
du saint.
Les huit gigli ce sont de très lourds obélisques
en bois, qui mesurent 25 mètres et ont
une couverture en papier mâché :
parmi eux, il y a un imposant bateau (la barca),
avec dedans un turc (un barbare), qui symbolise
le bateau utilisé par Saint Paulin pour
retourner chez son Pays.
Les gigli et la barca sont portés sur les
épaules par une paranza de 120 hommes,
à peu près, qui, en suivant les
commandes d’un chef, font danser, tourner
et avancer les gigli avec une grande habileté
au rythme d’une musique entraînante
jouée par une fanfare qui se trouve sur
la machine même.
La phase saillante de la fête a lieu le
dimanche après le 22 juin (22.06.2008)
quand, jusqu’à une heure avancée
de la nuit
, et toujours dans l’ordre traditionnel,
les gigli parcourent les rues du centre historique,
entre l’allégresse de la population
et la merveille des touristes (à ne pas
manquer le dimanche matin).
Particulierment intéressant c’est
aussi le Cortège Historique des Orsini
et le Parcour de la Foi.
A
“Festa dei Gigli” (Festa dos Lírios)
é uma das mais espectácular das
festas folcloristicas. Esta festa tem dedicada
ao bispo S.Paolino, vivido acirca no século
V d.C. Os oito Lírios são esadissimos
obeliscos de lenha, altos 25 metros e têm
recobrido com fantásticos e artistícos
cobertas em papel esmaga. Também há
um Barco imponente que transporta “O Turco”
(Selvagem). Este Barco se lembra do mar cruzado
por S.Paolino para devolver em país. Os
Lírios e o Barco tem transportados de uma
"paranza" (um grupo de 120 homens).
Estes homens dirigidos por um “Capoparanza"
(Cabeça do grupo), eles fazem dançar
os Lírios com grande habilidade, eles os
fazem girar e caminhar ao ritmo de trascinanti
podre. A música é tocada por uma
fanfarra que é achado nos Lírios.
A fase importante da festa acontece nos domingos
seguintes a 22 de Junho (22.06.2008).
Neste dia, da manhã até noite remetida,
os Lírios cruzam em ordem as estradas do
centro histórico, entre o eu exulto alguma
população da maravilha dos turistas. |
